            SubScout is a privacy-first extension. We do NOT collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal data. Everything stays on your computer.
        

1. Data Collection

SubScout operates entirely locally on your device. We do not track your browsing history, usage patterns, or collect any personally identifiable information (PII) on our servers.

2. Local Storage Usage

The extension identifies subscription details (such as service names and prices) from the pages you scan. This data is saved exclusively to your browser's local storage mechanism (chrome.storage.local).

This data never leaves your browser and is removed instantly if you uninstall the extension or choose to delete items from the list.

3. Third-Party Access

Since we do not collect your data, we cannot (and do not) share, sell, or transfer it to any third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

4. External Communications

SubScout does not communicate with any external servers for analytics or tracking purposes.
